MEET PATTY and BEN...
Born in Durham, NC, Patty has spent her life throughout the Southeast, growing up in Florida, graduating from college in Georgia, and eventually settling in Asheville with her husband and two children. Previously a public school educator, and having taught every grade from 8th to 12th, Patty has had years of experience working with the public and developing her strong interpersonal skills. Community is very important to her, and Patty is an active member of many local organizations, including The Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation, The Nature Conservancy, and The Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy, among others. Patty is a member of the National Association of REALTORS' Council of Residential Specialists. Patty is passionate about her family, so much so that she hired her husband, Ben, to join her as a team. Ben is a native Boulder, Coloradan who is a member of the Georgia Bar and a former program developer for the Buncombe Country Schools' drop-out prevention program. They enjoy spending time with their children, hiking along the Blue Ridge, gallery-hopping in downtown Asheville, and taking educational trips. Patty and Ben bring their experiences back to their other passion, real estate, through an expanded knowledge of the world. This understanding helps the Woolf Team connect with their clients and be able to uniquely assess and address their real estate goals. Patty is an avid reader, gardener, cook, and knowledge enthusiast. Ben is a history buff, avid reader, and enjoys strategy and tactics. Both are connosieurs of beauty, food, and conversation. Honesty, integrity, and a keen sense of ethics define Ben and Patty's philosophies of life.
